Dictionary Soup

Dictionary Soup takes words you choose from the dictionary and sculpts an entire world around them – and the worlds can be absurd or insightful, and sometimes both. Since its creation in 2007, audiences have seen a friendship’s journey back in time, the consequences of a woman’s yearly hunt for a new boytoy, a bear president and many more fantastic worlds, all created by the magic of words nobody knows. This improvised play has been called “Kansas City’s most thoughtful and realistic show.”
