We had so much fun we’re doing Duofest for a fourth time next year. We’ll have a new website for the 2014 festival up soon, but for now please save the dates: June 6-9, 2013!
Thank You For An Awesome Duofest 2012!
Thank you to everyone who came out and saw, traveled to perform in, took a workshop at, or helped behind the scenes with this year’s Duofest. It was – once again – our most successful outing ever! Feel free to share to your favorite memories in the thread below.
Duofest will return!
Weekend Passes SOLD OUT
We hope you were able to get your weekend pass already, because there aren’t any left now! This is the earliest we’ve ever SOLD OUT of passes… but the good news is you can still get individual tickets for shows you really want to see.
Buying in advance will save you a few bucks on every ticket and there are no fees. To grab tickets now just visit http://duofest.ticketleap.com!
Duofest Workshops!
We’ve just put our workshops for the weekend of Duofest – taught by headliners Joe Bill (Second City, iO Chicago, The Annoyance) and Jill Bernard (HUGE) – up on the website and you are encouraged to sign up quickly! There are not a lot of spaces and demand will probably be significant!
We’ve got two other great workshops taught by some of the duos that are coming into town. Rachel and Dave will be teaching a workshop called “Put the Relationship Back in Your Relationship Scenes” (and they should know what they’re doing here since they are actually real-life married), and Twinprov is doing a really exciting and fun Freestyle Improvised Hip-Hop workshop.
All the workshops are available from the workshops section of the Duofest site!
Duofest Passes & Tickets On Sale Now
Happy Monday! Duofest starts one month from today and we are happy to announce that our ALL-ACCESS Passes and individual tickets for shows are now on sale. We’re using TicketLeap this year (a great local Philadelphia business that is just around the corner from Philly Improv Theater’s offices) and we think it will be a much nicer experience for our fans – you can print off tickets at home, or get a digital ticket with a QR code your fancy smart phones.
The ALL-ACCESS Pass is also a great deal. With tickets priced $10 advance / $12 door for all the shows, getting an ALL-ACCESS Pass could save you as much as $178 over the course of the weekend (that’s if you otherwise went to all the shows and bought tickets at the door).
